Bruce got his start in 1973 while working for Bechtel on the construction of the Syncrude Heavy Oil Sands Plant in Fort McMurray. By 1978, Bruce was eager to start his own business and thus he purchased his first concrete pump from Bechtel. Soon after, Bruce and Marilyn settled in Edmonton, Alberta and A & B Concrete Pumping Ltd. was incorporated. Over the last 26 years A & B has grown to be the largest concrete pumping company in Western Canada. A & B prides themselves in having the newest, most up-to-date fleet of pump trucks.
